Hibernating dormouse in a coconut shell!

This dormouse was exploring a tea shop when it found a cozy coconut shell. It settled and started hibernating for the winter! The folks in the shop took it to a wildlife shelter, so when the dormouse wakes up, it's coconut will be in a new spot. :)  (Story here.)

Two words: Snoring dormouse!

What's a "dormouse"?

It's a chunky little rodent that hibernates for six months out of the year. (That’s how photographer Danny Green was able to take this close-up without waking the snoring furball!)
