Baby Owls!
"Two orphaned baby burrowing owls, nicknamed Linford and
Christie, have moved into the home of their keeper Jimmy Robinson. The owlets
were hatched in an incubator at Longleat Safari Park, Wiltshire, and are now
being hand-reared by Jimmy. The native American birds, which get their name
from living in small burrows in the wild, can find plenty of nooks and crannys
about his flat to hide. 'Tea cups and bookcases are a particular
favourite,' says Jimmy, 'but it's good to see them developing their
natural behaviour and they always seem to find me at meal times.' Via the Telegraph.

mum's feathers while hitching a ride on her back." Via.

Like father, like son!
Chris Paul is an NBA player. Recently, he hurt his nose, and now the point guard has to wear a mask.
When Paul's son saw this, he said that HE needed a mask too. Ta-dah!

The School Library Journal likes "Cute!"
The March issue of the School Library Journal has a nice review of Cute! A Guide to All Things Adorable:
[This is] a well-researched look at what people find so appealing and why . . .
Filled with fun facts and interesting tidbits, this is a title that tweens and teens are sure to flip through again and again.
It's just the kind of book girls will flock to in their libraries and media centers.
