Pink Dolphin!

This bottlenose dolphin was spotted in an inland lake in Louisiana. Besides its unusual color, it's apparently normal and healthy! Story here.

  2. Yes, it's actually an albino dolphin. This is a genetic thing that happens to humans too. With us, an albino is VERRRRRY white, and has pinkish eyes. With a dolphin, the whole animal turns pink!

  6. It is not even of the same family as oceanic dolphins. It belongs to a family of river dolphins, of which there are 5 kinds. It is neither an albino nor a bottlenose dolphin. Google pink dolphins.
