"Mom! The meerkats are teasing us!"

These baby warthogs (wart-piglets?) come outside for the first time and the local meerkats start to make mischief. Mama warthog has to give them a lecture!

Rough day? Take a load off.

William Stokkebroe is two years old.

And he can dance!

"What am I doing in here?"

"Oh, nothing. Why do you ask?"

Baby Owls!

"Two orphaned baby burrowing owls, nicknamed Linford and Christie, have moved into the home of their keeper Jimmy Robinson. The owlets were hatched in an incubator at Longleat Safari Park, Wiltshire, and are now being hand-reared by Jimmy. The native American birds, which get their name from living in small burrows in the wild, can find plenty of nooks and crannys about his flat to hide. 'Tea cups and bookcases are a particular favourite,' says Jimmy, 'but it's good to see them developing their natural behaviour and they always seem to find me at meal times.' Via the Telegraph.

"Oh. Hello."

Via.

[This is] a well-researched look at what people find so appealing and why . . .
Filled with fun facts and interesting tidbits, this is a title that tweens and teens are sure to flip through again and again.
It's just the kind of book girls will flock to in their libraries and media centers.
